De afdeling
Als Manager Research & Development (R&D) ben je verantwoordelijk voor de afdeling Research & Development en Innovatie van de BU Linoleum. De afdeling telt negen personen en is verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling van nieuwe producten en het productie gereed maken van bijbehorende nieuwe processen. Hiervoor wordt intensief samengewerkt met andere afdelingen en locaties zoals Operations Assendelft en Kirkcaldy, Quality Assurance, en Product Management, Proeffabriek en het Laboratorium.
De functie
De Manager R&D rapporteert aan de Vice President BU Linoleum. Je maakt deel uit van het Linoleum Management Team (Lino MT) en bent medeverantwoordelijk voor de prestaties van de BU Linoleum. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de uitvoering van de R&D strategie binnen de BU Linoleum en voor projecten volgend uit de product innovatie strategie en product roadmap van de BU Linoleum.
Je geeft leiding aan de afdeling R&D en Innovatie en bent verantwoordelijk voor de optimalisatie van ontwikkelingsprocessen, door continu aanbrengen van verbeteringen en borging van de juiste kennis en vaardigheden binnen jouw afdeling. Het onderhouden en opzetten van samenwerkingen met derde partijen is onderdeel van de functie. Hierbij waarborg je naleving van Forbo Groep en Flooring Systems beleid en regelgeving.
Het profiel
• Je hebt een afgeronde HBO/WO opleiding, bij voorkeur met een relevante technische master in (industriële) productontwikkeling;
• Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar werk- en management ervaring in research & development en innovatie projecten;
• Je bent resultaatgericht en door jouw enthousiasme en proactieve houding weet jij je team te motiveren;
• Je bent een bruggenbouwer en neemt mensen mee;
• Je weet stakeholders te managen door het vermogen om te schakelen in rollen en stijlen waardoor jij jouw doelen bereikt;
• Je hebt uitstekende communicatievaardigheden in het Nederlands en Engels; Duits en Frans zijn een pré.
