**Business Development Representative
- New Business**This position will be an integral part to help grow the net new revenue for Medius. In this role, you will help our prospects improve their operations and achieve their technology goals around AP automation. Our BDRs research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. As a BDR, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how Medius could help a business grow, and successfully position the Medius value proposition.

In This Role, You will
- Work closely and collaboratively with account executives (also known as sales reps) to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
- Schedule discovery meetings & demos for an account executive to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Medius
- Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned
- Help companies realize the benefits of AP Automation
- Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great salesperson, leader, and executive
- Utilize an outstanding tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc) to optimize your productivity and output
What we're looking for
- Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
- Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas a plus (but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in DUTCH and ENGLISH
- The ability and desire to work in a fastpaced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
- The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
- Naturally curious and confident
- Coachable and resourceful
- The technical aptitude to master our sales tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, etc)
- A keenly developed competitive nature
- The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection daily
Pay:
€2.900,00 - €3.300,00 per month
