What will you do as an IT Infrastructure Archtiect?
As IT Infrastructure Architect, you will have a crucial position with a lot of responsibility within our IT team. Together with the IT Integration Architect and the IT Information Architect, you will desgin the IT landscape within Neways.

Next to the ambitions of IT, you can work on your personal development. You are in the position to play an important role in modelling a professional IT landscape for all Neways locations.

After analysing the current environment and taking into account the IT roadmap and agenda, you will work on reviewing, adapting and optimising the existing architecture.

The group of architects will validate and incorporate new initiatives from the business and IT into our IT landscape. Monitoring and creating new standards is an important task. IT is in the lead

You will also work closely with all other teams within the IT department.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safeguarding the current and future IT landscape at technical, application and data level with a focus on infrastructure and standard applications;
• Establishing reference and target architectures and following roadmaps to get to target architectures;
• Managing the process of converting business requirements into IT solutions, based on the architecture principles and standards;
• Identify Neways' information needs, planned and ad hoc, and translate them into concrete plans and project proposals;
• Reviewing proposals / designs from suppliers against the Neways architecture;
• Selection of IT technology and applications for use within Neways;
• Monitoring developments in IT and translating them into opportunities for Neways.

Your profile and DNA:
A colleague with an analytical mind and good communication skills. You are able to create an IT landscape with an eye for the big picture. You can articulate this both orally and in writing. You make an active contribution to the team in order to grow together towards a strong and decisive IT organisation.

Furthermore, we ask:

• A completed HBO/WO education, in the direction of IT, with WO working and thinking level;
• At least 5 years of working experience in IT Architecture in an international high-volume manufacturing environment;
• Proven experience in describing and drafting IT architectures;
• Knowledge of, and experience in business process analysis and an understanding of the dependencies of different IT systems and business processes;
• Up-to-date knowledge of IT technology and applications, (multi) Cloud strategies and the latest standards related to cyber security;
• Advanced oral and written skills in Dutch and English, German is a plus;
• Available full-time (part-time 80% is negotiable).
