Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our client's team as a Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager in Utrecht, Netherlands

Our client is a leading Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device provider based in the Netherlands, and they are actively looking for strategic sourcing experts to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement regional sourcing strategies for direct materials
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
to ensure alignment on business objectives

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; MBA preferred
* 5+ years' experience managing strategic sourcing initiatives within medical device industry
* Strong negotiation skills
* Experience sourcing within direct categories, preferably from medical device industry

Skills:

In addition to these qualifications my client requires strong interpersonal communication abilities along with excellent organizational capabilities. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate expertise in using technology tools like Microsoft Office suite (Excel/PowerPoint), ERP systems such SAP etc., e-sourcing platforms like Ariba/Coupa etc., while being able to analyze data effectively which can lead towards actionable insights.
