Acting and Creativity at Beekdal Lyceum - Drama/Theater/Artist Educator
Are you passionate about theater and eager to share your creativity and knowledge with our students? Imagine yourself working with an enthusiastic group of students on an exciting theater production at Beekdal Lyceum in Arnhem.

Your Role
As a drama/theater/artist educator at Beekdal Lyceum, you are at the heart of the creative world of our students. You will be teaching drama to lower and upper school classes in our sports and cultural profiles. Furthermore, you will actively participate in Beekdagen, work on projects, and go on excursions with students and colleagues. Your creativity and organizational skills will play a key role in these activities.

Moreover, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our cultural profile by creating new teaching materials and projects to inspire and motivate our students. For example, setting up a music-theater production where your students shine on stage.

At Beekdal Lyceum, we prioritize guidance and growth, offering an extensive induction phase for new teachers. You will receive support from teacher coaches, the department, and student coordinators to quickly adapt and leverage your talents effectively.

What We Offer
Starting from August 1, 2024, we provide a challenging work environment with attractive employment conditions according to the education collective labor agreement.

• You will initially receive a 0.3 - 0.6 FTE yearly contract with the intention to convert it to permanent after one year.
• Based on your expertise and experience, you will be classified in the LB salary scale, offering a monthly gross salary ranging from €3,301 to €5,030 for a full-time position.
• You will receive reimbursement for travel costs, a comprehensive pension plan, 8% holiday pay, time off during school vacations, and an 8.33% fixed year-end bonus.
• You will have a personal budget of 90 hours for full-time employment, which can be utilized at your discretion. This could include opportunities for sports, leisure, or purchases through CoolBlue, among others.
• We provide ample opportunities for your professional development, including training, education, and coaching through Quriuz, our in-house academy, and GoodHabitz, our online academy.

Requirements
You should have a strong connection with our students and the ability to quickly engage with them. Possess a drama teaching qualification. Prior work experience as a drama teacher is advantageous.
