Job summary
AAP (Animal Advocacy and Protection) is a European animal welfare organization dedicated to the welfare of exotic animals. We are looking for motivated animal caretakers who will be part of the All-round Caretaker Team (ACT). The team replaces colleagues during absences due to longer illnesses or other leave periods.
Responsibilities
- The nature of your role is to be broadly trained in the care for all different animal groups at AAP.
- You are responsible for the daily care of our animals. This includes cleaning, feeding observing providing behavioral enrichment assisting in rehabilitation guiding teaching volunteers students monitoring food water intake general behavior health administrative tasks easy maintenance work according to agreements instructions working closely with other animal caretakers following standard safety procedures protocols hands-off policy team leader management.
