- Je bent hbo of wo afgestudeerd in de richting Chemische Technologie / Chemical Engineering, Bio Procestechnologie of aanverwant. Aangevuld met ervaring op sustainable technologie als specialisatie;
- Tenminste 8 jaar relevante technische werkervaring op zelfstandig engineering niveau en technische advisering;
- Theoretische en praktische kennis van het uitvoeren van energiestudies en verduurzaming van productieprocessen;
- Je bent in staat om op technisch strategisch niveau te denken en te functioneren;
- Je hebt een extraverte persoonlijkheid, beschikt over goede communicatieve, analytische vaardigheden en bent gedreven om projecten tot een goed einde te brengen;
- Qua persoonlijkheid beschik jij over het inzicht om problemen uiteen te rafelen en in staat om onderdelen op systematische wijze te analyseren en helderde, onderbouwde conclusies te trekken. Jij bent vak- en resultaatgericht en bezit overtuigingskracht;
- Je zorgt voor goede coaching en begeleiding van Junior Engineers in het team en biedt hen voldoende ruimte en kansen om zichzelf te ontwikkelen;
- Je beheerst de Engelse taal, goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is een pré. Hierbij is het van belang dat je al wel enige tijd werkzaam bent in Nederland en begrijpt hoe er in Nederland wordt gewerkt;

Als Principal Engineer Sustainable Technology kom jij te werken binnen onze Process discipline en krijg je een actieve en uitdagende rol bij engineering vraagstukken waarin je fungeert als 'meewerkend voorman'. Je krijgt de vrijheid om in uitdagende projecten te werken binnen diverse sectoren in de industrie.
Als vakspecialist help jij bij het concretiseren van de transitieplannen van klanten in verschillende marktsegmenten. Dit varieert van (complexe) haalbaarheidsstudies, conceptuele ontwerpen tot en met realisatie, van verbeteringen in bestaande installaties tot volledig nieuwe installaties. De activiteiten zijn gericht op de inzet van restwarmte, biomassa, circulaire oplossingen en het gebruik van biogas en groene waterstof. Je werkt in multidisciplinaire teams samen met alle technische disciplines en mensen verbindt vanuit je vakspecialisme om samen tot de beste technische oplossing te komen. Met jouw kennis uit de verschillende sectoren draag je makkelijk technische oplossingen aan;
Jouw werkzaamheden zijn heel divers. Zo voer je complexe haalbaarheidsstudies uit en maak je conceptuele ontwerpen, ontwerp je energiesystemen, gericht op stoom, warmte en koeling, procesoptimalisatie en implementatie van duurzame technologie en energievoorziening en ondersteun je de sales activiteiten door technische kennis in te brengen bij het opstellen van concrete aanbiedingen naar klanten.
