- Create and analyze monthly capacity plan showing planned production, projected inventories and capacity utilization
- Provide guidance and interact with Plants/Asset Schedulers to meet planned order requirements and resolve gaps
- Develop scenarios for medium/long term horizon to support business S&OP decision process as necessary
- Recommend changes to target inventories, kanbans, turns and safety stocks when necessary to deliver required customer service levels within policy and guidelines
- Track all master planning metrics and reports appropriately. Leads root cause analysis for key metrics.
- Coordinate and lead special projects as required. Projects may include analysis of new product introductions, asset utilization studies, supply chain cost optimization, process transfers and process changes
- Heavy interface between the Business, Supply Chain and Operations teams to communicate and resolve supply issues
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
- 5 - 7 years' experience in operations or supply chain roles
- Knowledge of supply planning theory and stock management
- Knowledge of MS Office tools (specially Excel)
- Excellent business English communication skills
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to travel %) Training / Certifications
- SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise
- APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training
