The Supply Chain Services Team combines data, technology, and analysis with business acumen to examine processes, automate work streams and generate insights driving better decision-making.

The team also governs and supports key Supply Chain reporting systems used by Supply Chain and will act as a focal point in strategic initiatives/projects.


As Analyst Supply Chain you will initially focus on admin processes related to freight rate management and invoicing to learn the general operating environment.

After the initial landing phase, you will leverage those learnings to perform data analysis and modeling techniques to improve supply chain operations and performance by identifying repetitive manual processes and formulate proposals that enable efficiencies in the day-to-day operations.


Together with your fellow analysts, you ensure complete and accurate monthly spend reporting and provide specific insights to your business line.

You support existing reports and dashboards and next to that you will be an ambassador of continuous improvements by participating in projects and change requests to optimize these and/or introduce new ones.

Your operational activities are linked to securing accurate and timely processing of transportation invoices while maintaining effective business controls.


Responsibilities:


  • Assure accurate logistics rate management procedures that provide correct rate and invoicing capabilities.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders regarding freight rate/invoicing discrepancies to identify the rootcause and resolve.
  • Process ownership of GR (goods receipt) creation for fixed and variable costs in the Supply Chain.
  • Ensuring timely updates of dashboards as per agreed with your stakeholders.
  • Driving continuous improvements in data quality, actionable insights and process standardization.
  • Supporting the Category Managers and Sourcing Leads as an analyst with structural and on demand reports and KPI analysis.
  • Monitoring and analyzing supply chain performance data to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to supply chain models.
  • Familiarity regarding working with data: optimizing data loads, transformations, and the creation/maintenance of Supply Chain dashboards.
  • Automate processes or process steps using Intelligent Automation tools including but not limited to Alteryx and Power Platform.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related engineering/technical discipline.
  • Master's Degree (in disciplines mentioned above) is preferred.
  • Up to 2 years of proven relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Data analytics functions.
  • Familiar with ERP systems preferably SAP and familiar in software like Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, Excel (VBA), Celonis.
  • Familiar with working with cross functional flowcharts for process mapping like VISIO.
  • Chemical industry experience/knowledge is beneficial.
  • English and an additional language preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
