WHAT WILL YOU DO AS AN IT SYSTEM ENGINEER?

As an IT System Engineer, you will be in charge of managing our WMS System at various locations on our Venray campus. Your role involves engaging with programmers, local management teams, staff, and customers. You will serve as a go-to person for system-related issues, specializing in configuring and optimizing our WMS System. Staying well-informed about the system's details, you will actively apply this knowledge to improve our warehouse operations.

• (Re)designing and overseeing our WMS System;
• Training and guiding Key Users;
• Identifying and implementing system enhancements;
• Maintaining customer relations, including liaising with their IT department;
• Providing daily support for system issues;
• Offering advice to local management regarding WMS System capabilities;
• Developing advisory plans;
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS ROLE?

Your hands-on experience with WMS Systems, specifically JDA Dispatcher Standard, drives your passion for system design, implementation, and user support. Strong communication skills empower you to effectively collaborate with programmers and clients in advisory and specialist capacities. You should possess:

• HBO-level education with a focus on ICT & Automation preferred;
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience with WMS systems;
• Familiarity with JDA Dispatcher Standard or similar systems;
• Proficiency in EDI (XML) reporting;
• Knowledge of warehousing and WMS Systems;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English.

WHERE IS THIS ROLE BASED?

You will be part of a dynamic and informal local IT team that values Continuous Improvement. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will closely collaborate with the site management team. This role offers flexible working hours, starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with on-call responsibilities.
