    The European School The Hague is located in the heart of the Netherlands, offering a unique combination of languages. We provide pre-, elementary, and secondary education leading to the European Baccalaureate. Our elementary and secondary schools are situated in two different locations within The Hague International Zone, sharing the same vision and mission as part of the Rijnlands Lyceum Foundation Schools. Our qualified and dedicated staff ensure high-quality teaching and learning, facilitated by small class sizes.

    Starting from August 1, 2024, we are looking for:

    **Biology Teacher** (0.333FTE)

    Join our vibrant international biology section and inspire young individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. We are seeking a passionate educator with excellent knowledge of biology, eager to foster a love for science in our students. Teaching topics include cells, hormone and nervous system basics, evolution, genetics, and other fascinating areas. Our dedicated science technicians are ready to support you in exciting lab experiments.

    Requirements:

    • - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Biology

    Preferred qualifications:

    • - Teaching experience with the 11-18 age group

    Profile:

    - Proficiency in English

    - Active contribution to school development

    • - Excellent social and communication skills

    - Flexibility and openness to work in an international team

    Interview invitations will be sent via email. Interviews will be conducted either in person or via Microsoft Teams, depending on the candidate's location. Suitable candidates may be invited for interviews before the mentioned application deadline.

    Candidates are eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses. Expense reimbursement information will be provided upon invitation.
