Content of the function
As a Group Controller you are responsible for the financial administration of the WPS business units and the entire group. You are also responsible for various analyzes and reports associated with the planning & control cycle. It is a versatile role where your focus is on financial control. We are looking for someone who is able to act closely to the business when it asks for it, but who can also see the bigger picture. You like to tackle things and see the further professionalization of the financial administration as a challenge that never ends. The WPS Finance team, including you, consists of 6 professionals in Eindhoven. You are the sparring partner of and report to the Finance Director.

For this varied and challenging position, we are looking for an employee with a HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in a financial-economic direction, supplemented with, for example, an RA training. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, demonstrable accounting skills and thorough financial reporting knowledge. Experience with project administration and knowledge of Jedox, Konsolidator and/or Power BI are an advantage.
In terms of personal qualities, we are looking for someone who is pragmatic, hands-on and socially skilled. Because you have frequent contact with all levels within and outside our organization, you have excellent communication skills and, in addition to Dutch, you are fluent in spoken and written English.
