Your responsibilities

Initiates, leads and coordinates of Uniper's Green Power & Gas development activities for sites including all activities across all technologies, greenfield, brownfield and Joint Venture projects to generate value for the group, e.g. wholesale, ancillary services and capacity markets, customer contracts, etc.
Implements innovative development (e.g. partnering, contracting, build & sell, etc.), financing (e.g. project finance, strategic equity investment, etc.) and operating (buildownoperate / sell) models.
Gives input on asset strategy and translation of strategic targets into project opportunities and delivery models.
Steers and adjusts the site masterplan development pipeline and ensures project quality via project prioritization, resource allocation, quality reviews, analysis and adequate monitoring & reporting systems.
Allocates, manages and controls development budgets in an effective and efficient manner and prepares high quality investment proposals for review and approval of final investment decision (up to FD), incl. management of the project business case.
Initiates continuous improvement of development processes and systems while maintaining high quality and productivity of project development activities.
Establishes strong and clear project governance models for implementation.
Provides market intelligence and supports the lobby of political and regulatory changes in respective market from a project development perspective

Your profile

University degree in relevant studies, e.g. engineering, business administration, physics.
Minimum of 5 years of indepth expertise and proven track record in actively developing and managing large projects, preferably related to power generation, infrastructure or heavy industry.
Certified project management skills.
Experienced in leading international teams and complex multicompany business development activities.
Excellent conceptual, analytical, and strategic thinking combined with the ability to prioritize from a holistic view.
Strong personal credibility up to successful Board presentations, excellent teamworking skills, ability to build strong working relationships across the Uniper Group, strong stakeholder management skills.
Creative and openminded individual with fresh mindset, ability to think out of the box and excellent communication skills.
Professional command of local language and English (another language of a Uniper core country beneficial).
