To strengthen the team of the Damage Repair workshop, we are looking for a Damage Repair Mechanic

Whether it involves painting, repairing damage, truck or trailer lettering, or cabin conversions, the difference lies in the quality and the smallest details. And that is our focus at BAS in Veghel, the Netherlands.

As a Damage Repair Mechanic, you are an essential link in our workshop. You will be joining an enthusiastic team of supervisors, mechanics, service coordinators, construction workers, painters, and graphic designers (approximately 25 colleagues). In the near future, we will be moving to a completely new location with even more possibilities for the future.

In your role as a Damage Repair Mechanic, you will fulfill an important role within our workshop. Key tasks include body shop work and performing common damage repairs on trucks (cabin and chassis damage) and trailers. You may also have the opportunity to participate in painting or pre-finishing new and used trucks and trailers.

You will support the service coordinator in documenting damage and preparing damage reports. These reports will be reviewed and coordinated with damage experts from various insurance companies. In this challenging position, you will be responsible for quality control of the work performed.With your experience, you will be able to supervise colleagues and trainees and serve as a knowledgeable resource for any questions that arise.

Your specificationsYour tasks

• A completed relevant education towards damage repairer, commercial vehicle mechanic or agricultural engineering;
• Experience with damage, painting and bodywork is an effort;
• Communicative skills, proactive and a flexible attitude;
• Living in the area of Veghel, the Netherlands.
