- Bachelor's degree with STEM or business analytics focus
- 4+ years hands-on experience with Python (or other object oriented language), T-SQL (or equivalent)
- 4+ years experience with data modeling, ETL development, database administration, and infrastructure management
- Experience with agile methodologies, in a previous engineering role
- Familiarity with the Azure suite of products including Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, PowerBI, DevOps (or equivalents from Google, Amazon)
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects, prioritize deliveries and keep work organized to ensure seamless handover to colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to explain complex systems coherently and concisely for a non-technical audience, influence senior stakeholders, and provide guidance to junior colleagues
- Familiarity with DevOps engineering concepts, including deployment pipelines, automated testing and automated monitoring.

Senior Data Engineer – Data & Analytics
As a Data Engineer in our department, you will have a hands-on role in a dynamic department working in an agile squad leveraging the latest, fully cloud, fully-Azure data fabric. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines that enable data scientists, analysts and other stakeholders to access, process and analyze large volumes of data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop data solutions that meet business requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include data modeling, ETL development, database administration, and infrastructure management. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of data engineering concepts and be proficient in SQL, Python, and other relevant technologies. Additionally, you should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality data solutions that drive business value.
