    Job Description

    Hospitality Talents , a recruitment agencyspecialized in Hospitality profiles, is currently looking for an experiencedand highly motivated Director of Sales to join the team of ourclient in Maastricht.

    Our client is a marketleader, ideally located in the city and offering rooms + extensive meetingfacilities.

    We're seeking adynamic and driven individual to join our client's team as Director of Sales.If you're passionate about the hospitality industry, thrive in a fast-pacedenvironment, and are ready to make a significant impact, we invite you toembark on this exciting journey with us.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting thorough analysis of reports and delivering presentations oncommercial progress to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

    • Assessing the regional hotel market mix and developing forecasts toinform strategic decision-making.

    • Implementing strategies to enhance group turnover and fulfill banquetingrequests.

    • Orchestrating commercial campaigns aimed at boosting room reservationsand optimizing revenue streams.

    • Effectively communicating Revenue Management standards and objectives toensure alignment across departments.

    • Formulating short, medium, and long-term strategies to drive the hotel'scommercial success.

    • Providing mentorship and guidance to the commercial team to foster theirprofessional development.

    • Spearheading the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and nurturingrelationships with key stakeholders.

    • Participating in monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) calls andcoordinating Business Revenue Meetings.

    • Devising initiatives to augment turnover related to room reservations,group bookings, and Food & Beverage services.

    • Engaging in strategic key account management from acquisition toexecution, and cultivating potential client relationships.

    • Coordinating client events and cultivating a proactive sales team toachieve organizational objectives.

    • Monitoring bookings in systems, analyzing market data, and liaising withexternal service providers to optimize performance.

    • Developing short and long-term E-commerce strategies to enhance onlinerevenue generation.

    • Providing regular reports and updates to the General Manager andHeadquarters to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

    • Upholding the group identity and ensuring compliance with establishedstandards.

    • Supporting the Marketing Coordinator in managing social media channelsand the local website.

    • Assisting the Marketing Coordinator in preparing presentation materialsand marketing collateral.

    Requirements Profil

    • Proactive, results-oriented individual capable of making well-informeddecisions independently.

    • Proficiency in corporate contacts and familiarity with yield/reservationsystems.

    • Experience in developing pricing structures, utilizing banquetingsystems, and managing demand calendars.

    • Education in Commercial Management or Hotel School.

    • Previous experience in the hotel industry.

    • Extensive background in commercial activities.

    • Strong leadership abilities and adept at building externalrelationships.

    • Excellent communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English.

    • Proficiency in conducting critical analyses.

    • Negotiation skills in securing MICE business across diverse sectors
