- Deliver new ideas for R&D projects, that are in line with our strategy or trends and developments in the market. You will do your own experiments to validate and develop these ideas, and in the end develop these into commercial products or solutions. You will be part of a team to make the project a success, or possibly even driving the project by managing it as your own R&D project but being responsible for your own experimental work is always of key importance.
- Perform technical support to both external and internal customers. Here you will use your expertise to answer technical related questions or conduct small experiments to provide an answer to the customer.
- 1-3y experience in Research & Development of Rubber/Polymers
- Have a BSc or MSc in Chemistry / Material Science or Polymer Science (i.e. polymer material science, polymer/ R&D in Rubber.
- Hands-on mentality in the lab.
- Creative and a high interest in innovation
- Flexible and team player.
- Good communication, reporting and presentation skills.
- Good language skills, written and spoken English.
- Have a good background in chemistry in relation to rubber and/or polymer application.
- Experience working in project management is a plus.
- Strong passion of doing experiments by yourself and explore something new in applications for rubbers, elastomers and polymers.
