    The Global Product Manager is the owner of a share of the Regal Rexnord Conveying product portfolio. This entails managing the product portfolio in profitable growth through the lifecycle using new product development and lead product focus. Executing and delivering product line performance are founded in voice-of-customer, differentiated from competition and relevant to our target customer base; as well as creating or enhancing the tools, training, and communication for existing products utilized by our sales teams. You will work cross-functionally with our vertical marketing, engineering, operations and commercial teams to identify and convert unmet customer needs into robust product requirements that describe compelling value propositions as well as ensuring quality, cost and delivery of your product portfolio. You will own and be accountable for different aspects of your assigned product portfolio and lead profitable growth execution.

    Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable growth through the lifecycle of your product portfolio
  • Accountable for project success and budgets while being the single point of contact within the business for new product development.
  • Challenges traditional methods of thinking to ensure the work is always structured in the most effective manner to achieve project goals
  • Understand the competitive landscape, collect VOC (voice of customer), and complete specific research projects in support of the product planning process, and the development of unique value propositions.
  • Work closely with engineering to execute new product development projects and deliver increased vitality
  • Utilize New product development and value engineering (VAVE) as growth and margin improvement tools
  • Establish project prioritization/trade-offs and requirements to produce an executable roadmap and predictable product release cycles
  • Ensure our commercial teams have solutions-based, compelling value propositions to provide best-in-class support to our customers

  • Experience and Skill Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business and knowledge of consumer goods industries sector
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant B2B product management and new product marketing/ commercialization experience in the industrial manufacturing industry
  • Willingness to travel 30%
