    Job description

    The Credit Analyst is responsible for periodic and ad-hoc reporting on DAF operations to senior management. Besides reporting in this role you are responsible for realising improvements in daily operations by using data processing tools and robotics. It is a challenging and hands on job with a lot of opportunities for further development and future career. You'll be part of the DAF Credit team but also work closely together with PACCAR Financial, the dealer network, customers and other stakeholders in the Netherlands and abroad.

    Main tasks:

  • Creating timely and accurate management reports providing insight into the (credit) quality and daily operations of DAF Credit and the dealer network.
  • Creating timely and accurate management reports providing insight into the credit quality of PACCAR Financial Europe's operating and financial lease portfolios.
  • Develop new and enhance existing credit scoring tools by means of advanced statistics.
  • Contribute to process improvements using Six Sigma methodologies.
  • As a Credit Analyst you will report to the DAF Director of Credit.

    Your profile

  • Bachelor/master degree in finance related fields risk management, business economics.
  • Young professional, 0-2 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A drive to identify improvements and implement them.
  • Experience with data analytics and applications like Power BI and Tableau is preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, verbally and in writing.
  • Determined, and able to perform in a demanding environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible, hands-on mentality with growth potential.
  • Department

    The Credit department is responsible for managing credit risks associated with the sales process and financing of DAF products and is therefore an integral part of the DAF business and sales process. It supports sales activities by underwriting adequate credit facilities for all DAF dealers and PACCAR Financial Europe customers and DAF dealers by ensuring a Clear Path to Payment. Credit approval is required for all trucks that are put into production as well as the parts that are delivered. Continuous improvement through the PACCAR Production System (PPS) and Six Sigma is an integral part of the department.
