    Your Missions

    Are you looking for a growth in the DevOps engineering field?

    Our client is a knowledge-based company with a great deal of practical experience in benchmarking, budgeting and implementing IT infrastructure solutions, ranging from e-mail systems, networks and telecom solutions to intranets and document management systems. They are responsible for part of the software development of a digital platform for one of their customers, that utilizes this platform for running applications that improve semiconductor production processes.

    We at MCA are looking for a DevOps engineer with specific understanding of coding in Ansible since this is used for automated installation and upgrading of platform components. The challenge is to develop upgrades on these components for this on-prem (in factory) air-gapped containerized platform, not impacting 24x7 production. The DevOps engineer works within a scrum team via DevOps. The engineer should be familiar with software development (testing) and infra-as-code (CI/CD pipeline) way of working.

    Your profile

    What are the competencies?


    • Must: Experienced in automating tasks with Ansible


    • Experience with software development, CI/CD , DevOps , Azure DevOps


    • Experience with containerization (Kubernetes)


    • Pre: Experience with Python


    • Pre: Experience with MongoDB, Ceph, Spark and Helm charts


    • Pre: IT Infra background and test automation understanding


    • Fast learner and likes working towards actual goals (software deliveries)


    • Team player


    • Minimum of 5+ years of working experience

    What attributes do we expect from you?

    The candidate is a skilled engineer (quality over speed) with hands-on mindset, showing fast results, and has demonstrated good communication skills.

    Responsibilities and activities:


    • Part of software development team of a digital platform in leading company in the semiconductor industry.


    • Determine upgrade scenarios of diverse infra components.


    • Code (Ansible playbooks) automatic installation and upgrading process (to run at customers)


    • Gather knowledge and align with multiple other software developers.


    • Troubleshooting in case of issues.
