The Analyst II, Trade Compliance position for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics plays a critical role to ensure the company's imports and exports are conducted in accordance with the rules and regulatory requirements of Customs authorities and other applicable governmental agencies.

This role acts as a primary point of contact for inquiries and escalations from Beckman Coulter Diagnostics' sites and other stakeholder groups.

This position is part of the Global Logistics & Distribution organization and is based in Wijchen, Netherlands. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to direct, assist with, and participate in, the following activities in support of our Trade Compliance Program**:

  • Developing and implementing import/export processes related to broker/agent management including oversight of broker KPIs and daily management.
  • Conducting post entry and Danaher Self-Testing audit transactional reviews.
  • Maintaining the trade compliance recordkeeping process.
  • Releasing trade compliance related holds on shipments for transactions escalated to trade compliance.
  • Managing trade data classification, country of origin, and partner government agency data at a country or regional level to ensure compliant and expeditious customs release.
  • Assisting with development, maintenance, and execution of customs valuation declaration process or reconciliation program.
  • Collecting Free Trade Agreement program data and execution elements to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Assisting in a government audit, as required.
  • Assisting in trade automation software implementation relating to trade compliance.
  • Interfacing with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other trade compliancerelated thirdparty service providers to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of all regional applicable regulations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of direct experience in import and export operations roles.
  • Strong working knowledge and interpretation of European import and export regulations and related operations.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Proven problemsolving, critical thinking, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Understanding of global supply chain and logistics processes.

On Site Presence:


This position will be required to be on-site a minimum of 3 days per week at the Wijchen, NL site.
