- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources and the optimization of inventory levels.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability of supply.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory planning and management processes to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and optimize working capital.
- Logistics Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in transportation, warehousing, and distribution to enhance operational efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, enabling proactive inventory planning and production scheduling.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing supply chain strategies and driving operational excellence.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
