Nijhuis Saur Industries are looking for a Mechanical Technician to work onsite at Hampton Loade Water Treatment Works.

Duties and Responsibilities

•Installation and loading of mechanical water treatment systems carried out in accordance with company standards/procedures

•To support the overall delivery of company goals and installation schedule

•To ensure that all work scope is completed in a safe manner with no detrimental impact on personnel or the environment

•Guaranteeing at all times that the mechanical/assembly work scope is completed safely and to a high standard

•Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable instructions and associated procedures

•Following the direction of the technical supervisor

•Maintain a safe and tidy working environment including wearing full PPE, at all times

•You should have significant experience in mechanical systems.

Required Skills/Qualifications (Essential):

•Minimum of ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ or C&G level 3 in mechanical engineering or a 4-year apprenticeship.

•SSSTS

•CSCS Card

•Blue water hygiene card

•Overhead gantry crane ITSAR qualification or similar

Required Skills/Qualifications (Desirable):

•First Aid

Our Employment Conditions Package

•2 vacancies

•Temporary role, may have the capacity to become permanent for the right candidate

•Salary depending on qualifications and experience, £30 - £40 per hour

•Working hours: 40 per week

•Work will normally be during the working week, however, some out of hours and weekend call-outs may be necessary on a rota basis
