Currently, they are looking for an Accountant to join their finance/accounting team in Spankeren.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing our financial processes while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Your primary responsibilities will includeDriving process improvements and implementing automation solutions to streamline operationsPreparation and facilitation of month-end, quarterly, and annual closingsEnsuring the integrity of financial data through meticulous recording, verification, consolidation, and entry of transactionsMaintaining and reconciling intercompany accounts, resolving any discrepanciesOversight of the general ledger, including preparation of trial balances and reconciliation of entriesManagement of CAPEX, amortization, and depreciation registrationsAssisting in the processing of incoming invoices and bank statements, as well as managing paymentsProviding support to external entities on VAT/CIT/Intrastat mattersCollaborating with the Head of Accounting to prepare for both internal and external auditsTaking the lead on finance-related projectsActing as the key liaison with our French production entityQualifications5+ years of experience in financial accounting rolesA bachelor's degree, preferably in economics or accountingProficiency in French (fluency is a plus)Fluent in English and/or DutchAbility to work autonomously and efficientlyStrong analytical skills to identify and leverage strategic connectionsComprehensive understanding of financial administration processesAvailability for 32-40 hours per weekOffer27 holiday days + 13 ADV daysA pension schemeReimbursement for travel expenses at €0.23 per kmInterested?
