At Rituals, you will work in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. To support the tremendous growth of Rituals Digital we need a strong and stable team in the core pillars of the department. The Consumer App represents a growing part of e-commerce revenue and plays a crucial role in the Rituals CRM strategy. To ensure sustainable development progress we need a skilled Business Analyst that can build bridges between business and development. Our projects are diverse, making this role dynamic, with plenty of room for you to grow as a professional.

Our goal is to provide users a seamless and state-of-the-art digital experience within the Rituals Consumer App. As a Business Analyst, you capture complex business requirements for new app functionalities and translate them into implementable solutions. You gather business requirements from your stakeholders (e.g., the UX or content team) and you translate them to technical requirements for the development team.

This matches you as an analytical, well-organized Business Analyst. Amongst others, you:

• Truly want to understand the business input for new functionalities so you can optimally translate them into refined and detailed user stories on the backlog, ready for the development team to work on
• Dive into the details together with UX designers, architects, and developers but you don't lose sight of the bigger picture.
• Create diagrams and flow charts to visualize the best solution and you think about and discuss the impact on the other platforms and backbone systems.
• Think about optimizing processes to help bring the Rituals Consumer App to the next level
• Take pride in delivering a great product together with the team (Product Owner, Business Analysts, Testers and external development team)

Within the development team at the digital department, you work together with 25 enthusiastic, driven colleagues. Just like you, they like working in an innovative and fast-moving digital environment. You notice that especially in the smooth sprint cycles where we deliver cool new features every two weeks. There's a lot of freedom and ownership, but we all work towards the same goal.

In addition, as a Business Analyst Consumer App, you are proactive in finding technical solutions and know how to communicate your findings to your stakeholders. You simplify, without dumbing down. You visualize, without losing the big picture. And on top of it, you have:

• 5+ years' experience as a business analyst, in an E-commerce environment.
• Strong analytical skills, and experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software solutions.
• The ability to communicate ideas in both technical- and stakeholder-friendly language.
• The ability to spot (technical) dependencies and the experience to know how to deal with them.
• A self-starting mindset, being able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a sometimes high-pressure and complex environment.
• We want someone to start as soon as possible and are therefore looking for someone already living in the Netherlands for this role.
