The
IT Services Technician is responsible for providing desktop support to end-users including 2nd Level Application and Technical Support to End Users onsite at the Amsterdam Office location.


The IT Services Technician is responsible for resolving all end-user IT incidents/ requests related to end-user devices and software including ticket management with SLA parameters.


Responsibilities:


Technical Support

  • Provide hardware support at client sites including Desktop / Laptop / Network / Printer / End User Devices
  • Configure peripheral equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, PDA all dataenabled devices)
  • Install and configure hardware for end users
  • Configure and install software onto enduser devices
  • Provide VIP support to client's executive members

Ticket Management

  • Respond to Incidents and Requests assigned via the ITSM Tool
  • Ensure Ticket updates are current and endusers informed of progress
  • Respond to and Resolve incidents within SLA
  • Assess, review, and resolve assigned calls within stipulated SLA
  • Escalate tickets where applicable

Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot software and hardwarerelated incidents and requests
  • Perform weekly monthly automated tasks
  • Work with vendors and internal resources to facilitate resolution of incidents and requests

Client Engagement

  • Communicate effectively with relevant Stakeholders including team members and Management
  • Liaise with end users to effectively resolve incidents and requests
  • Keep users informed of priority changes and the timing of resolutions
  • Follow up with users to confirm that resolutions met requirements before closing the ticket SLA Breaches

Requirements:


  • 3 5 Years within an IT Desktop Support environment
  • Good knowledge of ITIL framework and service desk technologies
  • Proficient in speaking Dutch and English languages
  • Valid Dutch work permit
  • Punctuality and attention to details
  • Being a confident team player
  • Ability to selfmanage
  • High level of service excellence

Nice to have:


  • MCSE
  • AppleMac Certification
  • Relevant IT diploma
  • ITIL V4 Foundation

Special Requirements:


  • Driver's license preferable (not a prerequisite)
  • Working according to customer working business hours with occasional overtime as required
  • Working at multiple and varied client's sites as per client needs
  • Be available to travel between locations to provide planned or emergency support where required

    :2540 euros/h depending on experience

    :8 am to 5 pm (core hours):
  • Overtime where needed for special projects

Pay:
€25,00 - €40,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
