    What does an (all-round) logistics employeedo?

    A logistic worker is someone who fulfills anexecutive and organizing function in a warehouse or distributioncenter. During the entire process of delivery, storage andshipping, the logistics employee is responsible for the correctcourse of processes. The position of logistics employee iscomparable to that of order picker. The difference is that an orderpicker is primarily responsible for the collection, completion andpreparation of shipments, where a logistics employee has a broaderrange of tasks.

    In general, logistics /forwarding employees have the followingtasks:

    • Loading and unloading oftrucks
    • Packing and possibly repacking products/ packer
    • Sorting and labeling ofgoods
    • Preparing orders forshipment
    • Processing returnedgoods
    • Checking products for quality, quantity,packaging and serial number, among otherthings
    • Administrative processing of processesin a computer system
    • Signaling and rectifyingany errors or deviations from outgoing or incomingorders
    • Performing minor maintenance and repairwork on equipment
    • Inventory of warehousestock
    • Moving goods in the warehouse using areach truck or forklift
    • Tidying up and keepingthe warehouse clean

    At this companyyou work in 2 shifts. You will mainly be involved in logisticaltasks with, for example, an EPT. Relatively less as a forkliftdriver.

    Your working hours are from Monday toFriday; one week from 6:00am - 3:00pm and the other week from3:00pm - 12:00am.

    Functie-eisen

    Speaking and understanding the English language ismandatory for this role.

    Inaddition:

    • You have work experience inlogistics and you enjoy working in a logisticsenvironment
    • Are you in possession of a validforklift and/or EPT certificate
    • Are you willingto work in 2 shifts
    • You live in the area ofEindhoven, Helmond, Veldhoven, Veghel orValkenswaard
