The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is a decentralised agency of the European Union (EU), located in Amsterdam. It began operating in 1995 and is responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision, and safety monitoring of medicines in the EU.
The 2024 Traineeship program is now open for applications until 20 May 2024, with an intake on 1 October 2024.
The Agency is looking for motivated recent graduates, Erasmus+ students, PhD students, or Master's students interested in gaining experience and contributing to the Agency's work for patients in Europe.
We are looking for a trainee in the Healthcare Data Office within the Data Analytics and Methods Task Force.
During your traineeship, you will contribute to the strategy for the replacement of the EMA medicinal product dictionary with a more modern tool. This includes tasks related to data sharing and international cooperation.
You will be involved in international activities and discussions on ISO IDMP standards, interacting with EU regulatory members and international regulators.
In this traineeship, you will gain understanding in strategic planning, networking, communication, medicinal product information, ISO processes, and Agile project management.
Additional skills include working with structured data and knowledge of Excel.
The traineeship is for 10 months starting from 1 October 2024, with an option for teleworking up to 40% of the time. Monthly stipend of €1,858.31, mentor guidance, and travel contribution provided.
