Meaningful Work

Portus Educational Group is making its vision on student support and inclusive education tangible by starting a Supportive Education Center (SEC) as of September 1st. This center will accommodate students who are temporarily unable to attend school or are at risk of dropping out.

We provide students with psycho-social and educational guidance to ensure the continuation of their education process, or prevent it from halting completely. The center is expected to evolve into an expertise center within the educational group for students who are at risk of being or are already out of school.

As an educational assistant, your support plays a significant role in guiding our students back to education.

• A monthly salary ranging from €2392 to €4055 gross for a full-time position (scale 7 and 8, collective labor agreement for secondary education).
• An annual bonus, equivalent to a 13th-month salary, and 8% holiday pay.
• A pension plan through ABP and attractive secondary benefits such as 53 days off per year.
• A training budget and extensive opportunities to further develop within our CVO Academy.

Your Expertise

With your drive and passion for inclusive education and guiding students with support needs, you are a perfect fit for the team establishing this Supportive Education Center.

You are the educational assistant who:

• holds a completed pedagogical/didactic education in the field of education (educational assistant or equivalent)
• has an affinity for students requiring extra support
• demonstrates creativity, flexibility, and the ability to provide customized solutions
• is a team player with strong communication skills
• preferably has experience in guiding students with internalizing and/or learning difficulties

A valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required to work at CVO. The application for this certificate is part of our procedure.
