Role and responsibilities
As a Pack & Ship Planner, you are at the heart of our outbound logistics operations.

Your role involves coordinating the shipment of machines (D4E), parts, and commercial packages, ensuring progress is tracked and products leave our warehouse on time.

You will manage the inventory of packaging materials, containers, and consumables, ensuring they are available when needed. Additionally, you will plan the allocation of outbound docks and coordinate with carriers and the Freight Ops Shipping.

  • Create invoices and shipping documentation.
  • Initiate transport requests for systems and modules
  • Monitor the flow of products for shipment using the 'Delivery for Excellence' (D4E) and SAP systems.
  • Track and resolve issues and Daily Collaboration with cleanroom departments, warehouse staff, truckers/forwarders and the Freight Ops Shipping to ensure alignment and smooth operation and ontime delivery.
  • Ensure the timely availability of packaging materials.
  • Forecasting and Dock board Planning: Gathering essential information from various departments to provide accurate forecasts to the warehouse. You are responsible for creating and managing the dock board planning, ensuring all shipments are allocated to the appropriate docks and times, thus optimizing the shipping process.
  • Progress Monitoring Meetings: Leading weekly meetings to monitor the progress of machine shipments. This includes escalating any risks of missing scheduled flights and implementing mitigation strategies promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities or projects, identifying recurring problems and contributing to their resolution.
  • Report weekly on performance and volume measurements.


Your role requires a high level of coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage the complexities of packing and shipping high-value machinery.

The success of our shipping operations depends on your ability to plan, communicate, and execute effectively, ensuring that all elements of the shipping process align with our schedule and quality standards.


Education and experience

  • MBO+ / Bachelor's degree in logistics or a business related study.
  • 13 years of experience in planning and logistic processes (from previous work experience or traineeships/internships), stakeholder management, driving change, knowledge ERP systems

  • Flexibility to work shifts and weekends, with the willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Manages stress effectively and works independently and accurately.
  • Proactive; open to change.

Other information

In this role, you need to work in shifts which is as mentioned below:
Mon to Fri from 06:30 until 15:30 and from 15:00 until 00:00.

In this schedule you always have 1 fixed day off per week.

You work one weekend per month from 07:00 until 16:00.
