    Sales and Business Development Internship (Learning-Focused) | Spring 2026

    Location: Duiven, NL

    Start Date: February 2026

    Duration: 3–6 months

    Internship Type: Part-time | Hybrid | Paid

    Alicat Scientific is a global manufacturer of industrial process control systems. Every day, we contribute to cutting-edge projects in science and industry, in fields such as energy, space exploration, medical technology, and automotive innovation.

    We are looking for a Sales & Business Development Intern to join our commercial team in early 2026. This internship is designed as a learning-focused experience, offering supervised exposure to international B2B sales and commercial operations within a technical organisation.

    What You Will Learn and Do

    • Support lead generation and qualification under direct supervision and as part of structured training, while learning best practices in B2B prospecting and outbound outreach
    • Conduct market and industry research and translate insights into structured inputs that support commercial analysis and decision-making
    • Support sales-related activities (without independent commercial responsibility or revenue targets) by assisting with meeting preparation, follow-ups, and campaign coordination, while learning how customer interactions are managed
    • Assist with commercial and communication activities as part of defined learning objectives in a guided way, focused on developing professional workflow, organisation, and communication skills
    • Gain hands-on experience with sales and CRM tools in a supervised training environment such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.

    What We Are Looking For

    • You are currently enrolled at a Dutch university (Engineering or Business studies preferred)
    • You are available 16–32 hours per week, with at least one day per week on-site in Duiven
    • You are organized, communicative, and proactive
    • You have an interest in science, technology, or industrial markets

    What You Will Get

    • Internship allowance up to €1,000 gross per month, depending on hours worked
    • Supervised exposure to international B2B sales operations
    • A comprehensive commercial training program covering key stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to account management and business intelligence
