- Lead and manage a large team of digital professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Oversee the development and implementation of customer and employee-facing digital services and data products
- Maintain and enhance an enterprise cloud data platform, primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Drive the digital transformation of DAF' business and IT units, ensuring alignment with our overall strategic objectives; serving as a spokesperson for driving new technologies and approaches
- Own, maintain, and provide strategic guidance on DAF's Digital Strategy, in close collaboration with Products & Services Planning department; and collaborating with senior leaders across DAF, including the Board of Management
- Bridge the gap between digital teams and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of digital initiatives with business needs
- Ensure adherence to agile/scrum and IT project delivery best practices
- Coordinate, communicate & collaborate in a global context with IT & Digital Solutions colleagues in North America (Seattle-area)
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in leading large teams in a digital context
- Experience with AWS and cloud architectures, including knowledge of streaming architectures using Kafka, Lambda architectures for data platforms, and cloud-native architecture best practices
- Strong background in agile methodologies and IT project management
- Excellent communication and executive presence
- Demonstrated ability to manage onshore and offshore development teams effectively
- Strategic thinker with the ability to own, maintain, and guide digital strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus
- A 36-hour workweek;
