    Functieomschrijving

    Our growing Corporate FinancialAccounting & Reporting Europe team is seeking for a proactiveand hands-on team player to take a General Ledger Accountantposition in Hoofddorp.

    Reporting to the Finance manager, the GLAccountant will be responsible for the complete finance management(US GAAP reporting and tax compliance, VAT returns, Statutorycompliance including liaison with our external service providersand auditors, and so on) of some of our corporate entities withinNL and other EU countries (currently 11 legal entities in 5jurisdictions) and looking for ways to continuously improvefinancial accounting & reportingprocesses.

    Thisposition has a good mix of monthly "operational work" andchallenging (improvement) projects in a dynamic and internationalenvironment of a US listed company. You will be working in a smalllocal finance team (currently existing of 3 people) but closelyworking together with your colleaguesabroad.

    Professional skills


    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similardiscipline;

    • 2+ years of generalledger accounting experience;

    • Working experience in the finance department of a (large)multinational organization;

    • Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and / or US GAAP;

    • ERP system experience, preferably SAP,with a focus on Finance module;

    • Excellent Excel knowledge;

    • Strong communication in English and preferableDutch.

    Functie-eisen


    • Monthly closingprocess in accordance with Group Financial policies &procedures (US GAAP), requirements and timelines, involving fixedassets, accruals, royalties, interest, intercompany recharges andso on;

    • Monthly OneStream reconciliations;

    • VAT reporting (VAT returns, ECsales listings);

    • Assisting the finance manager with the preparation of the taxreporting packages;

    • Preparation of the statutoryfinancial statements, US GAAP to local GAAP bridge and balancesheet files and liaison with the external auditors (ifapplicable);

    • Assisting the finance manager with the preparation of thecorporate income tax return and related tax questionnaires and soon;

    • Assisting the finance manager - together with the other GLAccountant and Accounting assistant - with ad-hoc finance andoperational projects and tasks.

    Arbeidsvoorwaarden


    • Monthly salarybetween €3.500 and €4.500 including 8% holidayallowance;

    • Participation in the Littelfuse pension (DC at Aegon), with apersonal contribution of 3% of the pensionbasis;

    • 25vacation days;

    • Commute allowance or public transportallowance.
