GEA Food & Healthcare Technologies is responsible for machines for making pasta and bakery products, slicing and packaging meat and cheese, as well as chicken nuggets and frozen foods, as well as machines for the pharmaceutical industry, among others For our Finance Team of the Business Unit Food Application Solutions ( FAS) part of our division Food & Healthcare Technologies we are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Business Unit Controller. As Business Unit Controller for our site in Bakel you will be responsible for further development of the controlling function.
Your responsibilities and tasks:

In the role of BU Controller you report to the CFO BU Food Application Solutions (FAS) and will be a sparring partner for business unit management team.

You are the controlling contact for 20+ country sales entities globally.

Tasks:

Business Unit Controlling:

Participation in the creation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports of the Division(IFRS)
Prepare and accompany regular business review meetings.
Steering of strategic & operational planning processes.
Develop advanced controlling / reporting / forecasting tools.
Support group projects and strategic growth initiatives.

Sales Controlling:

Preparation of monthly management reports.
Regular comparison of target and actual performance.
Provide management with steeringrelevant information.
Translate financial and operational results into an understanding of underlying drivers and recommended actions.
Challenge sales organization to improve productivity.

Your profile and qualifications:

Successfully completed bachelor or master degree finance & controlling.
Relevant professional experience in finance roles within an international business environment.
Highly motivated, openminded team player with empathy.
Proactive, entrepreneurial, and resultdriven working approach.
Assertiveness, factbased challenging, consulting approach.
Outstanding conceptual, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
Excellent accounting and financial analysis skills.
Proficiency in SAP R/3, SAP FI/CO/CO-PA/BW, SAP Analysis, as well as MS Office (predominantly Excel and PowerPoint).
Good communication skills, ability to adopt to target groups.
Fluent in English and ideally German and/or Dutch.
