- Analyse in depth all aspects of categories under responsibility, including end use, specifications, supplier processes, operational factors, end products, customer and consumer requirements and differences with competitors.
- Develop a thorough understanding of all cost and market drivers in own categories.
- Understand cost structures and should costs.
- Develop a project ideation pipeline to generate productivity and value-added ideas and ensure their delivery.
- Define and implement Go-To-Market strategy and tactics.
- Define and recommend optimal award outcome.
- Lead post-tender engagement with suppliers to deliver strategy and objectives.
- Ensure legal agreements are executed as required.
- Contribute to the development of Danone's ESG strategy.
- Contribute to the implementation of ESG metrics with suppliers.
- Accountable for preparation, consolidation, and communication of annual operating plans and rolling forecasts to Global/Regional stakeholders.
- Track and monitor material variance and market change, cost savings, and any other price variance elements and compare with budget forecast or last estimate.
- Analyse market dynamics and trends in own categories as well as on a macro level
- Map potential risks and resulting impact.
- 7+ years of In-depth experience in strategic sourcing of relevant categories (dairy, ingredients)
- Experienced in managing sourcing categories across multiple geographies.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and has creativity to solve problems and oriented for value creation.
- Pragmatism, "hands on" mentality, with strategic business approach.
- Ability to navigate in ambiguous environment, tenacity with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities, to gain credibility and create an efficient network within regions and suppliers.
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge and experience of world-class category management and sourcing practices from one or several world-class companies.
- Strong commercial and business acumen and negotiation skills.
- Strong results-orientation and proven track record of consistent outstanding performance and results delivery
- Strong ability to lead, influence, collaborate, and effectively engage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

You are fully accountable for defining the strategic direction for the categories being managed, understand the markets and cost structures in depth, lead the sourcing and tendering process, drive SRM, manage all aspects of risks, lead and support project ideation supporting savings targets, contribute to the implementation of the Danone Impact Journey and be accountable for delivering the objectives across Danone.
