    As a Key Account Manager, you will be entrusted with the daily management of a portfolio of key accounts spanning retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. Your primary focus will be on delivering outstanding results in sales, profit, customer investment, and margin through effective P&L management. Achieving market share targets and identifying key business development opportunities will be crucial in maximizing the sales and profitability of each account within your portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts in retail, wholesale and/or e-commerce.
  • Deliver on sales, profit, customer investment and margin through full P&L management and market share targets.
  • Recognize and prioritize the key business development opportunities, risks and strategies that will maximize sales and profitability of each of the accounts within the portfolio.
  • Create and execute strategies for category development across accounts, guided by market dynamics, channel segmentation and channel strategy.
  • Lead identification of new initiatives for implementation.
  • Provide framework for specific activity across portfolio of accounts in accordance with annual business planning process.
  • Develop overall conclusions regarding accounts, markets, and competitive business results, using complex data from multiple sources.This requires proficiency in the use and interpretation of syndicated (e.g. AC Nielsen, IQVIA) and/or proprietary information and databases.
  • Qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer healthcare.
  • Business commercial knowledge and market understanding.
  • Working understanding of marketing, supply chain, and financial management.
  • Financial numeracy to build strategically sound, financially robust proposals.
  • Understanding of Grocery, Drugstore, and discounter marketplace.
  • Insight into Category Management principles.
  • Knowledge of sales and forecasting processes.
  • Understanding and respect for Compliance and Quality processes and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of successful external customer interactions.
  • Fluency in Dutch; proficiency in English.
