The Acid and Derivatives Operations leadership team is
committed to deliver the products to the Corbion business units safely produced, in a timely manner and meeting the quality requirement set by the customers.

As our Director Manufacturing projects you will support the A&D SVP of Operations in executing various improvement projects.

You are based out of our global business, R&D and operations hub in Gorinchem, The Netherlands.

You report to the SVP Operations LAD and closely
collaborate with The A&D site directors and director of contract manufacturing, as well as various functions such as R&D, IT, Supply chain and product management.

Responsibilities

Drive improvements on technological, process, quality and safety issues (RCA, CAPA)
Create and support systems and business process improvements
Interface with IT, Digitalization or potentially R&D (tech platforms) or supply chain (Supply consolidation) or procurement on improvements within A&D operations
Support and steer A&D team coordination (Meeting structure, follow up, etc) and reporting
Develop, coordinate and implement manufacturing best practices in collaboration with CiCi and other stakeholders
Take a lead role in global crisis management
Oversee manufacturing excellence projects

About you

Technical, engineering or scientific education at a Master's degree or equivalent
Mimimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Technical / engineering background
Strong knowledge of systems (SAP, OMP, Sample Manager)
Flexibility to travel if needed internationally (2030%)
A selfstarter and entrepreneurial
Culture awareness and ability to build contact with others
Able to conduct meetings in an efficient way
Preferably: knowledge of the lactic acid process and affinity with powders processes.
Preferably: Knowledge of manufacturing improvement processes (OEE measurement, Stable OPS)
Preferably: Knowledge of (process) Safety, quality management system and Maintenance processes
English speaking and written skills are required.
