    ABOUT HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS

    At Holiday Inn Express hotels we keep it simple and smart. As IHG's biggest hotel brand, we're the first choice for the increasing number of travellers who need a simple, engaging place to rest, recharge and get a little work done. We offer everything guests need and provide more where it matters most. We believe travel should be without hassle and complication. But we also believe travel should have more to offer, such as faster check-in and everything needed for a great stay within arms' reach.

    THE POSITION

    We're searching for an enthusiastic independent Front Office Agent who enjoys working in a fast-paced workplace and an international team. In the hotel, we serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As well as lunches and dinners for groups, for our staff canteen and we have two meeting rooms on the 1st floor. Our restaurant, Express Café & Bar Noord, is located on the ground floor of the hotel and has 60 covers. For our lunch and dinner menu, we work together with local suppliers from Amsterdam Noord.     YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a Front Office Agent, at Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - North Riverside, you will:

    • Greeting guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
    • Ensuring a smooth check-in/out process for all guests in line with brand standards.
    • Maintaining accurate guest records, including personal information, payment details, and preferences.
    • Caring out, reviewing, and updating the reception procedures, as per hotel policy.
    • Complying with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
    • Handling complaints in a professional manner.

    WHAT YOU'LL BRING

    • Affinity with the hotel industry and experience in hospitality is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Opera systems.
    • Social and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluent in English and preferably Dutch.
    • Empathy for guests and customer needs, enjoy dealing with people.
    • You love the IHG Brand and live and breathe the values: we put people first, pursue excellence, embrace change, act with integrity, and serve our world.
