Position: Industrial IoT Support Engineer

• You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers in the role of a Support Engineer
• Responsibilities include documenting errors and conducting systematic error analyses, particularly related to network communication and firewalls
• Collaborating closely with our cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and enhance products
• Assisting customers in the setup and maintenance of our hardware and software

Technical Landscape: Windows and Linux operating systems, industrial PCs, Linux (CentOS) on our industrial PC hardware, virtual machines, Docker containers, network technologies, Java, web technologies, mobile apps, and devices like tablets, data glasses, and smartphones.

Your Profile:

• Completed IT specialist training in system integration or equivalent qualification
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux systems, including Powershell/Bash, services, log files, scripting, container techniques, and IT security
• Experience in network communication and protocols troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and nmap
• Keen interest in Industry 4.0 technologies
• Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and IT professionals
• Ability to work independently with a focus on goals and solutions
• Excellent German and English language abilities
