    Here's what we'll do together:
    Is your passion for denim as high as ours? In this internship, you will learn how to ensure that the G-Star is on-brand and optimized for all global distribution channels. As our new Intern Merchandising, you'll help with a varied range of tasks to gain a solid understanding of the merchandising function:

  • You are looking to pursue a career as a product merchandiser. You have a passion for building the most relevant collections that resonate with the global consumers of a brand.
  • You have strong numeracy and have skills in Excel
  • You understand the fashion industry and are able to help with competitor research.
  • You are able to help the Merchandising team with a varied range of tasks across the departments of both menswear and womenswear
  • You are willing to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment
  • Your tasks & responsibilities:
    Some of your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Conduct competitor analyses
  • Review Sell-In and Sell-Out data
  • Support the team during Product Milestones (e.g. Sample Reviews, Go-To-Market presentations)
  • Keep track of Product Calendar
  • Help the team with planning for a season and maintaining a good balance in the collection through the collection development process
  • Keep track on market developments
  • Assist on day-to-day tasks
  • Here's what you bring to the table:

  • You are doing a Bachelor/Master in a Fashion Management/ Business Administration or related education
  • You like working with numbers and data and have first skills with Excel
  • You understand the fashion industry and are able to help with competitor research
  • You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in July/August 2024
  • You are enrolled at university or college for the full length of the internship, in the Netherlands or within the EU
  • If you are studying within the EU, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment from your school
  • You are already living in the Netherlands or able to relocate quickly, and have a BSN (or in process of getting one);
  • Fashion? You live and breathe it
  • Finally, do you have strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English? We'd love to meet you
