Introduction
Are you a bachelor/HBO or master student in a field related to Human Resources, business Administration or Communications? Do you have great interpersonal skills and are you interested in the Supply Chain domain? If yes, this apprentice internship could be interesting for you


Background Information
The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team is responsible for meeting service level agreements (SLAs) with customers.

System downtime costs customers up to a million USD per day so SLAs are extremely tight, with downtime waiting for parts and tools limited to as little as 20 minutes per system per week.

The CSCM team manages such challenges in a global network with thousands of unique spare parts and delivers true customer satisfaction through differentiated and affordable supply chain services.

ASML's aggressive time-to-market strategy and increasing system functionality means machines are often upgraded at the customer during their lifetime.

CSCM's highly educated workforce drives planning and execution of the supply chain aspects of commercial upgrades, field change orders, machine shipments, transfers and after sales.

The Customer Supply Chain Management (CSCM) team has been transformed significantly the last 12 months.

Within the CSCM department, the Material Group EUV has a need to optimize processes around onboarding, digital records and knowledge retention.


Your Assignment
During this assignment you will work closely with the team.

After introduction and understanding of the high level processes within the team, you will deep dive in three topics: 1) available onboarding materials, 2) available work instructions and training materials, and 3) understand how we are currently digitally organized. Additionally, you will benchmark Best known Methods within CSCM on these 3 topics.

After understanding the current state and BKMs, you will create a plan and eventually implement the desired future state:


  • A robust onboarding plan for the different roles within the team;
  • Clear work instructions of the most critical processes within the team, and;
  • Digital 5S: clear digital information structure with all required information.

Your profile:

To be the perfect match for this internship, you:

  • Are a bachelor/HBO student in a field related to Human Resource Management, Business Administrations or Communications;
  • Have an affinity with the Supply Chain domain;
  • Preferably have some experience with SharePoint;
  • Have excellent communication skills with a cando mentality;
  • Are process oriented and structured/well organized, with an eye for detail.


This is an apprentice internship (non-thesis) for minimum 5 months, with the days per week to be discussed (minimum 3 days on-site).

The start date is as of September 202- Please note that we can only consider students who are enrolled at a school for the entire duration of the internship.
