    About the role

    As a Junior Brand Designer, you'll be an integral part of our Brand Creative Team, collaborating closely with Designers, Copywriters, and Producers within our Marketing Department. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to various creative projects, from brainstorming sessions to executing designs across different mediums such as landing pages, CRM, digital ads, and video storyboards.

    In this role, you'll work collaboratively with teams from Performance Marketing, CRM, Comms, and Category Marketing, gaining valuable experience in cross-functional teamwork. Additionally, you'll partner with Product Designers to maintain consistency in design language between Marketing and Product.

    Your responsibilities will include supporting the maintenance of our brand identity and assisting in the creation of design guidelines under the guidance of our Creative Director. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and learning in the field of brand design.

    What you'll bring

  • A passion for special objects and their stories
  • 1-3 years' experience
  • Native-level English, outstanding grammar and writing skills
  • A portfolio that showcases a range of work
  • Experience in the development of campaigns or projects across a range of media platforms
  • Curiosity for emerging trends and best practices in the design and advertising industries
  • You are comfortable with design tools; Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
  • Pluses

  • Video editing or animation background
  • Experience in an in-house creative team or tech environment
  • International work experience
  • Knowledge of additional European language(s)
  • Affinity with one or more Catawiki categories

    Our offices and way of working

    We have sensational offices in Amsterdam, Groningen, Paris and our newest office in Lisbon. Most of our employees are within commutable distance of one of our office locations and enjoy a hybrid work model. This means we expect you to be in the office 2 out of 5 days, roughly 40% of your working time, to collaborate and connect with each other. The exception is of course, if the job description specifically states that the role is 100% remote, as some experts and sales positions are.
