- Provide high‐quality, pragmatic legal and E&C support to your assigned international Business Unit(s) to manage risks and protect the company's reputation.
- Enable the business to handle routine matters independently through smart guidance, templates, digital tools and self‐service solutions.
- Manage outside counsel to ensure efficient, cost‐effective legal support.
- Drive continuous improvement by contributing to the development and implementation of legal and E&C policies, procedures, templates and systems.
- Deliver impactful legal and E&C training, conduct risk assessments and support internal investigations when needed.
- You may also contribute to M&A projects.
- A law degree with at least 7 years of experience in an international business environment.
- Strong knowledge of contract, competition and basic corporate law; familiarity with food law is considered a plus.
- Strong experience in drafting (international) agreements; experience in M&A and delivering training are assets.
- An excellent communicator able to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Pragmatic, independent within clear frameworks, results‐driven and experienced in using legal technology, including CLM systems.
- Affinity with E&C and motivation to grow in this area.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

As Lead Counsel, you are responsible for managing legal risks and the E&C program, and supporting management of your assigned international Business Unit(s). The role reports to the Director Legal and E&C.
