- Conducting daily credit control operations to manage receivables, communicating with customers and internal stakeholders to reduce overdue debts and minimize risks
- Generating account statements, sending reminders, making collection calls, initiating disputes, and overseeing collections
- Enhancing receivables management by implementing measures such as blocking charge tokens, engaging collection agencies, negotiating solutions with stakeholders, etc.
- Cultivating strong relationships with Sales and other partners to address issues, enhance core processes, and deliver improved outcomes
- Handling bank statements, cash applications, refunds, reconciliations, write-offs, etc.
- Producing reports on AR balances, aging, insights, and focus areas
- Identifying risks and improvement opportunities to prevent bad debt and reduce aging receivables
- Engaging in various projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
- Experience in cash collection processes within an international setting
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office tools at an advanced level
- Academic background (HBO level) in finance and business
- Familiarity with Trust IT, Business Central, and SalesForce is advantageous
- Experience in scale-up, automotive, or energy environments is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external interactions
- Proficiency in reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in English and Dutch; knowledge of German or French is beneficial

The Credit Control team focuses on managing risks and exposures associated with sales to third-party customers. The team's goal is to facilitate the achievement of business objectives through risk-based decision-making aligned with Business Risk Appetite, World Class People, and Processes, actively managing risks and receivables.
What's the Role?
As a Credit Control Manager, you will oversee accounts receivable for a specific region from end to end. Your primary aim is to proactively address customer invoicing and operational issues to prevent overdue amounts, while continuously enhancing credit management processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
