    Are you an analytical mind with a hunger for identifying new opportunities? We are seeking a Global Grants and Incentives Specialist as part of the Global Tax team for our Leidschendam head office, based in the Netherlands.

    In the evolving landscape of Innovation and Sustainability, Grants and Incentives play an important role in turning Fugro's Mission into reality. Committed to a broad agenda of Innovation, a Net-zero Roadmap and other Sustainability initiatives, we have created a new position at our corporate head office: Global Specialist Grants & Incentives. This role is an opportunity to actively help shape our Innovation and Sustainability agenda by securing external grants, incentives and funding. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving our Mission of creating a safe and liveable world forward.

    This position requires expertise and eagerness in identifying, evaluating, and applying for subsidies, grants and other incentives, particularly in sustainable research and development (R&D) initiatives. The ideal candidate is willing to learn and gain experience on Fugro's dynamic type of business and will possess or gain a robust understanding of R&D and Sustainability funding opportunities, government subsidy programs, and grant application processes, along with experience in coordinating with external specialists for application submissions.

    Your role would typically involve limited international travel, for instance for occasional visits of foreign Fugro hubs.

    Your role

  • You collaborate with senior leadership in shaping and implementing the grants & incentives strategy in alignment with Fugro's mission and project portfolio.
  • You initiate and lead projects critical for the implementation of the grants & incentives strategy.
  • You collaborate closely with colleagues in the tax team and stakeholders across business and various other departments to translate the grants & incentives strategy into successful initiatives.
  • You Identify grant & incentive opportunities that align with Fugro's long-term goals and ground-breaking innovations.
  • You work in conjunction with third-party subsidy agents to optimize grant & incentive processes.
  • You coordinate efforts with Big 4 consultancy firms to enhance subsidy strategies.
  • You provide a fresh perspective on how Fugro can grow within the context of grants & incentives, challenging the status quo.
  • You contribute to solving today's big challenges, aligning with Fugro's mission and commitment to innovation, technological advancement and sustainability.

    • Your trackrecord

  • You have 6 years or more of relevant work experience, with a focus on managing subsidy processes;
  • You have a proven experience in grants & incentives strategy development and implementation;
  • You are familiar with collaboration dynamics involving third-party subsidy agents and Big 4 consultancy firms;
  • You are analytical, conceptually strong, with a track record of successfully handling subsidy applications.
