Vacatureomschrijving

With over 1500 technicians working in more than 34 countries, you will secure that these technicians have a good understanding of Lely's farm management system, and develop and maintain their knowledge.

You will give training to several types of colleagues in several layers in the organization, from developers to technicians.

You will work closely with the Digital Operations Center (DOC) technical specialists who will give you technical input that you will be translating into clear, easy to understand and logical Knowledge Base (KB) articles and trainings.

Lely Horizon is the management system for modern dairy farming. With the rapid release cycle of new versions of Lely Horizon, which sometimes contain minor and sometimes major changes, it's key to ensure our training curriculum and shared knowledge about the management system is up to date.


Your activities
Under your guidance and together with your fellow team members, your team will prepare and give trainings.

You like to prepare and present trainings and keep training materials such as user manuals, training videos and user guides up-to-date.

You know how to adapt your approach to the various user groups and create perfect tailor-made training sessions.

You will actively capture feedback from stakeholders and process this feedback into new or updated training materials and technical manuals.

To build up a good relationship with colleagues abroad, you occasionally visit a branch.


You:
- take the team along in creation of and responsibility for following up of the DOC Training, Communication and Documentation (TCD) roadmap;
- are able to determine the short and long term (training) needs and use this to give input to the training roadmap;
- are able to escalate roadmap issues with stakeholders when progress is staying behind;
- are able to solve the most complex issues independently and help team members in this process as a 'sparring partner';
- stay up to date with the latest (technical) developments in own field of expertise and share these within the organization (e.g. trends in training methods like blended learning). You are also able to translate these insights into strategies and practical actions;
- will safeguard the quality of work of the TCD team;
- are a mentor of the TCD team and give proactive & constructive feedback for personal development and content of work to other team members.


Functie-eisen

We are looking for a team player who wants to become part of a young and enthusiastic team and enjoys a dynamic role with a lot of space for own initiatives.

You have a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within a technical L&D environment in which you gained didactic knowledge, but also a commercial feeling.

You possess high quality organizational and leadership skills and have outstanding communication and presentation abilities.


Further, you:
- have a bachelor intellectual and working level (by degree or experience);
- are currently living in the Netherlands and have a fluent level of English (verbal and written);
- have experience with giving training and developing training materials in regard to (technical) knowledge topics;
- have a creative and open mindset;
- can easily connect (and co-create) remotely with colleagues worldwide;
- have affinity and/or experience with organizing events.
