As an essential member of Trouw Nutrition's Research and Development Team, the R&D Project Officer is responsible for leading strategic initiatives, overseeing projects, and promoting collaboration within the organization.

This role reports directly to the TN R&D Quality Assurance and HSE Manager .

Collaborate with the Research and Development Management Team (R&D MT) to develop and manage strategic initiatives encompassing sustainability, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), operations, administration, and grants.

Lead multidisciplinary project teams in planning, executing, and overseeing internal R&D projects.

Work with the R&D MT to develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including energy-saving plans and the integration of sustainable technologies.

With the project team, prepare and execute the Dairy Facility Project, including renovation, facility design, equipment procurement, and project reporting.

Collaborate with R&D HSE Leads to implement health, safety, and environmental initiatives, including the Nutreco Safe Harbour Project and Life Saving Rules program.

Facilitate data collection and reporting for subsidized projects in partnership with grants consultancy partners.
Coordinate with the R&D MT to establish an automated administrative system for tracking project resource allocation.
Master's degree in animal nutrition research or related field.
Experience in project management, preferably in applied research settings.
Excellent project management skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in finance, data analysis, and computer systems.
Effective communication skills in English (proficiency in Dutch and Spanish is a plus).
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-functional team with minimal supervision.
