The RMG Accelerator team is in a journey to develop RMG capabilities in OpCos around the globe.

A step up in the RMG self-assessment must be supported by fostering and nurturing analytics capabilities and by assisting our local teams to lift the level of important analyses such as 4C assessment, RMG lever deep dives, value at stake.

Scaling of the Accelerator must be done OpCo-by-OpCo because RMG is an intrinsically local exercise and insights cannot be generalized.

As a RMG Accelerator Insights Manager you are invited to be part of this challenge - Leandro da Silveira Saraiva_


Role
The specialist needs to ensure that through the RMG accelerator the RMG capability of the Opco makes a step-change.

And to make sure there is a clear capability development, the specialist has to follow-up the plan set to support the OpCo in current and future value delivery.


Scope

Liaise with the OpCo Head of RMG and their teams to unlock initiatives through the 4Cs analysis that will create value in the Strategic/Annual Plans or in short term issues.

In order to identify the key strategical issues this person should run/support senior stakeholder interviews, and standard or bespoke analysis formulating hypothesis based on that input.

And support/follow-up the execution of a list of initiatives that can be executed by the OpCo with a clear value at stake.


Responsibilities

  • Supports and challenges OpCo Head of RMG and their teams to maximize the value they can deliver in the commercial strategy.
  • Foster integrated commercial Strategy through RMG levers (pricing, PPA, mix management, Promo and Discounts/trade terms) by unlocking initiatives raised in the 4Cs Analysis (category, consumer, customer and Company).
  • Conduct interviews/support conduction of internally and with external partners (e.g., wholesalers, distributors and outlets) in order to understand the OpCo status regarding capabilities and commercial practices.
  • Theory and practice are together in the RMG journey, therefore it's necessary getting acquaintance of a given country by studying its macroeconomic trends and by visiting the market min 3⁄4 days in the field.
  • As the Acceleration program must be held in person by the global team in our top 27 OpCo, it's expected to travel 1 to 2 weeks per month to different countries around the globe.
  • Connection with the local teams is demanded in order to provide recommendations based on reliable analysis.
  • Develop or support development of presentations for Steer Co based on recommendations aligned with the RMG lead and the local leadership.
  • Instil local teams to keep the drum beat during and after the intervention made by the Acceleration program.
  • Provide OpCo hyper care post intervention for 3 months.
  • Build case studies after each intervention.
  • Reports to the RMG lead and partner with another specialist in the team.

Profile:


  • Education: Bachelor level / University level
  • Work experience: At least 5 years of experience in RMG
  • Demonstrated experience in revenue management and/or data driven commerce, category management or commercial finance. Experience in a large multinational (preferably FMCG) or consultancy firm.
  • Experience in analytics and experience with PowerBI, Microsoft Office, knowledge of industry trends
  • Languages: English
