    Menzies is looking for a Financial Controller who is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial records by managing the accounting function for the Benelux region.

    As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with the Regional Financial Controller to provide value-added financial, commercial, and accounting support. You will ensure that daily accounting, financial, and administrative tasks are performed according to Menzies guidelines and reporting regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with the Regional Financial Controller to add value in financial, commercial, and accounting areas.
    • Ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing in cooperation with business controllers.
    • Taking responsibility for monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
    • Preparing annual Financial Statements for Menzies Benelux entities.
    • Implementing the purchase order module within the Benelux organization.
    • Ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and statistical requirements.
    • Coordinating with local auditors during the annual external audit process.
    • Initiating improvements in cash flow and enhancing cash flow planning and reporting.
    • Taking ownership of internal reconciliations and the fixed asset register and conducting periodic asset counts.
    Functie-eisen
    • Bachelor's in accounting / finance.
    • Management accounting experience within a dynamic operation.
    • Knowledge of RP finance systems, ideally OneStream.
    • Experienced user of Microsoft Excel.
    • 3+ years post qualification experience.
    Arbeidsvoorwaarden
    • A salary ranging from €3850 to €4500 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience;
    • 25 vacation days;
    • 8% holiday allowance;
