- Coordinate and mentor the HR Specialists, maintain an oversight on progress of tasks and responsibilities and report on results to foster a high-performing environment.
- Coordinate the activities of the People Operations team by leading bi-weekly sprints and daily stand ups.
- Generate and analyze insightful reports on SLA performance of the People Operations Team and drive improvements of processes and automations where required.
- Lead the continuous improvement of People Operations processes as well as ensure central documentation of knowledge and information.
- Liase with stakeholders in the organization when additional support, advice or escalation is required and represent HR in meetings and taskforces.
- Collaborate with local HR teams and aim for global uniform policies and processes.
- Guard and act on the service levels of the People & Places team.
- Responsibility for the content and regular updates of our People & Places policies and Employee Handbooks.
- System ownership for the HRIS (BambooHR), employee engagement platform (CultureAmp) and the HR Service Desk (Jira).
- Administrative ownership of recurring People & Places processes, such as Annual Salary Review, Promotion cycles, and commission cycles.
- Facilitate monthly meetings with the Works Council (NL)
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure the services provided meet the demands and needs of the wider People & Places team
- Advanced education in the area of Human Resources, International Business, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations and practices.
- 6+ years experience in HR service/administration.
- Experience in project management and proven track record of overseeing a project from beginning to completion
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using MS Office. Solid knowledge of Excel.
- Proficiency in working with HRIS tools (such as Workday, Successfactors, HiBob, BambooHR).
- Previous experience in payroll for EVBox's operating countries, specifically the Netherlands.
- Previous experience working with a ticketing system approach (experience with Jira (Atlassian) is valued).
- Previous experience working with a works council is valued.
- Previous experience working in an international organization is valued.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication skills and teamwork.
- Sense of responsibility, organizational and project management skills.
- Analytical thinking and decisive judgement, analyses issues and problems systematically, drawing sound conclusions and translating conclusions into decisions and actions.

Our department is split into multiple disciplines: Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Business Partners, and our Facilities Team.
The People Operations team collaborates with the People & Places department by supporting EVBox global employees on a wide scope of HR topics, while ensuring our internal processes and policies are updated, legally compliant and correctly applied throughout the employee's lifecycle in the organization.
As a key role in our People and Places department, the Team Lead People Operations reports to the Manager, People Operations. In performing this function, the Team Lead People Operations will collaborate closely with the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, People Development, Compensation & Benefits, Office Support Team, as well as Employment Counsel and relevant teams outside the department (Finance, IT and Legal).
About the role
As the Team Lead People Operations, you will part of a team consisting of passionate HR colleagues and collaborate closely with our international HR teams in France and the US. This role is based in our Global HQ in Amsterdam, while you are responsible for supporting all our international offices and manufacturing locations across Europe and North America. Your main priority is to ensure seamless People Operations processes and compliance with policies and legislation as well as driving the continuous improvement of the People Operations function.
